Quick Overview

As the name suggests, Enviromat Sedum Matting gains most of its low maintenance and environmental benefits from sedum plants. Sedum mat typically adapts well to poor soil and exposed sites making it a great alternative to grass. (Please note: If you are ordering over 30m² of Enviromat please allow for an extra 2 day lead time in your delivery plan.)

Details

1x1m Slabs of Enviromat Sedium Plants. Ideal for small areas. (Please note: If you are ordering over 30m² of Enviromat please allow for an extra 2 day lead time in your delivery plan.) As the name suggests, Enviromat Sedum Matting gains most of its low maintenance and environmental benefits from sedum plants. Sedum mat typically adapts well to poor soil and exposed sites making it a great alternative to grass. Enviromat is also especially suited to the UK climate and incorporates all the growing medium that the sedum plants need - so it can be used on a soil-less surface, for example a sedum roof or sedum carpet. On a slope of 10 degrees or more, irrigation should be available. This is just a precaution and unless the slope is very steep, irrigation is rarely needed. It's enough to make sure you have a hosepipe that can reach your Enviromat if necessary. On a flat surface (less than 3 degrees of slope) use drainage matting. Drainage mat is a special lightweight layer that sits beneath Enviromat to make sure the plants' roots are never sitting in water. Sedum plants will not survive waterlogging.
